Large and complex classes
Favour pairs, groups, distributed student roles, consistent signals and scalable routines.
AI-supported · Teacher-led
A context-aware thinking partner for designing an intentional culture, responding to real classroom moments and learning from what happens next.
What it helps teachers do
Training can shape intention; the classroom tests it. The Companion helps a teacher turn aspirations into a usable Classroom Culture Plan, think through uncertain moments, test a realistic next step and notice patterns over time.
How it works
Begin with what you need today. The longer learning journey stays connected underneath.
Plan
Define observable behaviours, routines, teacher commitments and student ownership.
Practise
Adapt the next step to the class size, subject, resources and school context.
Notice
Record breakthroughs, recurring difficulty and students or patterns that might remain unseen.
Review
Use weekly and termly reflection to continue, adjust or seek human support.
Five culture conditions
“My presence and contribution matter here.”
“I can question, try and make mistakes with dignity.”
“I have meaningful ways to contribute.”
“I increasingly own my learning and behaviour.”
“I help carry the culture, not only receive it.”
Context-aware support
Useful support must respect real constraints instead of assuming an ideal classroom.
Favour pairs, groups, distributed student roles, consistent signals and scalable routines.
Work with voice, board, notebooks and existing structures—not assumed devices, printing or flexible furniture.
Teacher judgement, privacy & safeguarding
The Companion can suggest, question and pressure-test. It does not silently change a plan or present its judgement as infallible instruction.
Reflection supports teacher learning. It must not become hidden performance management, student diagnosis or surveillance.
Abuse, self-harm, violence, exploitation and child-protection concerns move to the appropriate safeguarding people and process.
The Companion is not an assessment, psychologist, counsellor, disciplinary authority or safeguarding officer. It strengthens reflective practice; it does not replace professional, institutional or human responsibility.
Classroom Culture Plan & TLA
TLA for Teachers is the first implementation environment: teachers build a Classroom Culture Plan and continue through practice, reflection and accompaniment. The Companion supports that living plan while remaining available as a focused teacher practice tool.
