Leadership formation begins before the title.

We work with students, teachers, school leaders, and education partners to build identity, character, rhythm, responsibility, and healthier leadership cultures.

Young people are often given authority before they are given formation.

  • Prefects receive positions without deeper leadership formation.
  • Students learn control before they learn service.
  • Teachers carry real responsibility without renewal or accompaniment.
  • School culture is treated as discipline only, not formation.
  • Leadership training ends after a single event.
  • Quieter students are overlooked, and relational classroom culture goes untended.

The whole school community, not one assembly.

Formation that outlasts a single training.

1

Identity and character

Who a young leader is becoming matters more than the badge they wear.

2

Servant leadership

Leadership learned as service and responsibility, not position and control.

3

Sustainable rhythm

Healthy patterns of work, rest, and renewal — for students and staff alike.

4

Classroom and school culture

Relational culture that shapes how learning and leadership are experienced daily.

5

Responsibility and accountability

Ownership that grows with trust, not fear.

6

Teacher wellbeing

The people forming students need formation and renewal of their own.

7

Leadership continuity

Formation that carries forward year to year, rather than resetting each intake.

Transformation Leadership Academy

The Transformation Leadership Academy is a leadership formation partnership of Lead from the Heart, Mendem Foundation, and Royalty World. It works with students, teachers, and schools to move leadership beyond a single training event into a sustained journey of formation and practice.

Lead from the Heart Mendem Foundation Royalty World

01

Student leadership formation

A leadership bootcamp that forms identity, character, and service in student leaders.

02

Teacher formation

Formation and renewal for the educators who carry the culture every day.

03

School administrator engagement

Working with school leadership to root the formation in real structures.

04

Classroom culture planning

Translating formation into the daily relational culture of the classroom.

05

Quarterly follow-up

Return points that keep the work alive beyond a single event.

06

Longer-term accompaniment

Ongoing partnership so leadership formation continues to take root across the school year and beyond.

Through the TLA partnership, more than 2,000 people have been reached — a figure that belongs to the partnership as a whole, not to any single organisation.

Leadership Heartbeat in education.

The same four rhythms, translated for the life of a school.

Daily Pulse

Presence before the school day — grounding students and teachers before the rush begins.

Weekly Wave

Teaching, learning, collaboration, and renewal held in a sustainable weekly rhythm.

Quarterly Pivot

School and classroom reflection — recalibrating before the term runs away.

Annual Sabbath

Long-term educator and institutional sustainability, not just end-of-year exhaustion.
