Discovery Call
We listen first. A structured 90-minute conversation to understand the team's current state, recent pressures, and what a successful retreat looks like for you.
90 minutes
A retreat should do more than interrupt the calendar. It should help your team name what is no longer working, recover shared rhythm, and return with a clearer way to lead together.
Protect the people. Strengthen the rhythm. Multiply the work.

Teams rarely lose effectiveness all at once. More often, pressure accumulates: meetings multiply, decisions slow down, responsibility concentrates, and people keep delivering while alignment quietly weakens. A well-designed retreat creates the space to see that pattern together — before fatigue, friction, or transition turns it into a larger problem.
We design each engagement around the reality your team is carrying. The work may involve strategic reset, leadership alignment, culture, communication, succession, or recovery after an intense season. The goal is not temporary inspiration. It is a healthier operating rhythm your team can actually sustain after the retreat ends.
Three levels
The Leadership Heartbeat began as a framework for individual leaders. But through years of working with corporate, humanitarian, and faith-based teams across Africa, we discovered something: organisations need their own heartbeat too.
Most organisations operate like machines — constant output, relentless meetings, quarterly targets stacked on quarterly targets. Our corporate work applies the same four rhythms at three levels:
An organisation where only the CEO has rhythm and the team grinds hasn't solved the problem. It has merely insulated one person from a broken culture. We work at all three levels.
What's included
We listen first. A structured 90-minute conversation to understand the team's current state, recent pressures, and what a successful retreat looks like for you.
90 minutes
We design the retreat around your team — not a template. Agenda, rhythm exercises, facilitation approach, and pre-work materials prepared within two weeks.
2 weeks
1–3 days of facilitated work, on-site or at a venue of your choice. Anchored in the Leadership Heartbeat. Led by Silas Achu or a certified LFTH facilitator.
1–3 days
Thirty days after delivery, we return for a 60-minute follow-up. What stuck. What didn't. What the team needs to sustain the rhythm that was set.

How fees are agreed: after the discovery call, we send a written scope and proposal shaped around your team, location, group size and level of support. The proposal states the full professional fee and any separate venue or travel costs before you commit. Programme design begins only after you approve the scope.
Retreats in practice
Our retreats are built around the people in the room and the work they carry. The setting changes; the purpose remains—to create enough trust and perspective for a team to find its way forward together.
From the boardroom
Through our work with the Transformation Leadership Academy, I have seen firsthand how Silas Achu equips leaders to embrace rhythm over relentless grinding. The fruit is visible — in our teachers, our administrators, and the culture we are building. This is leadership development that lasts.

Not ready for a full retreat yet?
Rhythm vs. Grind is a guided two-hour Workshop-in-a-Box that helps your team name where it is grinding and identify one rhythm to begin practising. For teams that already have a Team Health Report, it can turn the report into a practical 30-day rhythm experiment.
